MSPL Sports and Tomaz Pickleball Club are proud to present the inaugural PPA Asia 125 Malaysia Tomaz Cup 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As part of the PPA Asia 125 Malaysia Tomaz Cup 2026, this landmark event will feature both Pro and Amateur divisions, creating a unique platform where aspiring players can compete alongside some of the region's top talent and experience the atmosphere of a world-class tournament. Pro athletes will have the opportunity to earn official PPA Tour leaderboard points, while division champions will secure a coveted qualification spot into a PPA Asia 500 Open event, bringing them one step closer to the highest levels of competition in Asia. Meanwhile, Amateur competitors will enjoy the rare opportunity to play at the same venue and during the same tournament as the Pros, sharing the spotlight and experiencing the excitement of elite-level pickleball firsthand.
Please take note that registration for the Pro Divisions will be conducted via pickleballtournaments.com, while Baseline will only handle registrations for the Amateur Divisions.

Pro Divisions
All paddles used must be UPA-A certified and bear the official UPA-A certification mark. Players must have the paddle tested at the tournament venue the day before their first match. All players must have their paddles tested before the start of each match day. https://upaa.unitedpickleball.com/approved-paddles/
Amateur Divisions
All paddles used must be either UPA-A certified or USAP certified and listed on the applicable approved paddle list. Players are also required to submit their paddles for paddle checking at the paddle checking station. https://equipment.usapickleball.org/ OR the UPA-A Approved Paddles List: https://upaa.unitedpickleball.com/approved-paddles/
If a player believes an opponent’s paddle does not comply with the approved equipment lists or otherwise violates paddle regulations, they may request a review by the Head Referee or Tournament Director to determine eligibility for play.
Equipment challenges must be raised before or during a match. Results of completed matches will not be affected. (Refer to 2.F.1.a)
Pro Divisions
All matches will be played using traditional scoring and follow a best two (2) out of three (3) games to 11 points, win by two (2) format, including Round Robin, Elimination, Semi-Final, and Medal Matches.
Amateur events
All matches shall be conducted under the Rally Malaysia scoring system.
Round Robin and Elimination Rounds: Single game to 21 points. No deuce shall apply; if the score reaches 20–20, a single golden point will determine the winner.
Semi-Finals and Medal Matches: Best two (2) out of three (3) games to 15 points. No deuce shall apply; if the score reaches 14–14, a single golden point will determine the winner.
Players are permitted to register for both the Pro and Amateur divisions. However, Tournament Organizers reserve the right to verify player ratings and reject or reclassify entries that do not meet the minimum eligibility requirements.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to review and determine player eligibility in cases where a player's rating, playing history, or competitive level is deemed inconsistent with the division entered.


Important Notice
The match schedules and estimated start times published are for reference only and may be adjusted at the discretion of the Tournament Director. Players are advised to regularly check PickleballTournaments.com and the Baseline App for the latest schedules and updates once the draws for their respective categories have been released.
All players are required to be present at the venue at least one (1) hour prior to their scheduled match time for registration, check-in, and the player briefing.
