Swing For Love – Tzu Chi Pickleball Charity

Welcome to the Tzu Chi Pickleball Charity 2026 – Swing For Love, a meaningful sporting event hosted by Tzu Chi Klang Volunteer (慈济巴生志工). More than just competition, this charity tournament unites players, supporters, and the pickleball community to fund and support the construction of the Tzu Chi Jing Si Hall — a place dedicated to compassion, learning, and community service.

Join us for a full day of spirited matches, teamwork, and goodwill as 24 teams take to the courts for a charitable cause.

Total Teams: 24

The competition features a structured two-stage format:

1. Group/League Stage (Round-Robin)
2. Knockout Stage (Single Elimination)

• Categories in sequence:

1. Men’s Doubles 1
2. Mixed Doubles 1
3. Mixed Doubles 2 (Dreambreaker/Tiebreaker)

1. Group Stage

• Each team plays 3 matches.
• All categories are played to 15 points (rally scoring, win by 2 points).
• Standings determined by:

1. Total points
2. Sets won/lost
3. Set differential
4. Points differential

Points System

• Win the series: 3 points
• Lose the series: 0 points

Series Outcome Definitions

• Win Condition: 2–1 or 3–0
• Lose Condition: 1–2 or 0–3

2. Knockout Stage

• Round of 16
• Quarterfinals
• Semifinals
• Bronze Match
• Grand Final

🎯 Categories played to 21 points (rally scoring, win by 2).

👥 Team Composition

Each team must have 6–8 players, all with DUPR ratings below 4.0.

• Team Owner may also participate as a player.
• Team Owners may arrange the match lineup in any order they choose.

🌟 Advancement & Awards

• Top 2 teams from the Group Stage progress to the Knockout Stage.
• The remaining 4 slots will be selected based on below criteria:

1. Total points
2. Sets won/lost
3. Set differential
4. Points differential

Awards

• 🏆 Champion – Trophy & Medal.
