CATEGORIES & TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Categories
Boys and Girls – Singles
8 & Under (Born in or after 1-Jan-2018)
9 & Under (Born in or after 1-Jan-2017)
10 & Under (Born in or after 1-Jan-2016)
12 & Under (Born in or after 1-Jan-2014)
15 & Under (Born in or after 1-Jan-2011)
18 & Under (Born in or after 1-Jan-2008)

Tournament Format
- Any category will commence if there are at least 4 players.
- If there are less than 5 participants, the category will be played in a round-robin format to determine the winners.
- If there are 6 participants and above, the category will be played in a round-robin stage, followed by knockout rounds.

MODE OF PLAY

8 and 9 & Under
• Matches are played in a best-of-three set format.
• Each set is played to 7 tie-break points.
• At 6–6, a single deciding point will determine the winner.
• Players are allowed two serves per point and NO let.
• Overhead serve, smash, and volley are allowed.

10, 12, 15 and 18 & Under
• Matches are played in a short set format (first to win 4 games).
• At 3–3, a tiebreaker to 7 points will be played.
• At 6–6 in the tiebreak, a single deciding point will determine the winner.
• Two serve per point, no deuce, no let, and no advantage scoring apply.

The organiser reserves all rights to make changes to the prizes stated above whenever deemed necessary

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The tournament should be conducted under the rules of the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
2. Players shall participate in the tournament at their own risk. The Organizer and Tournament Organizing Committee shall not be held liable or responsible for any personal injury, loss, or mishap during the tournament.
3. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to alter or modify the rules and regulations, mode of play, order of play, and any other conditions in any way it deems fit. Any matter not covered by these rules and regulation shall be dealt with by the Organizer whose decision shall be final and binding.
4. The Organizer reserves the right to request for original identification document of players for age verification purposes.
5. The tournament is open for international and local players.
6. There will be chair umpire provided for 8 & 9 Under categories while other categories, only roaming umpire will be assigned to facilitate matches at designated courts.
