Tournament Overview
The Dinkerbelle Rising Stars Pickleball Tournament 2025 will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Dinkerbelle Pickleball Courts.
This event is sponsored by LAC, Dinky, Heal, Wonderbrew, Facolos, and Decathlon. It is open to novice players with a DUPR rating of 3.2 or below.
The tournament features:

- Women's Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
Participants will enjoy a fun, competitive event with sponsor perks, giveaways, refreshments, and exciting prizes.
Novice Category Eligibility
- DUPR rating of 3.2 or below
- Never placed in the Top 3 (podium finish) in any pickleball tournament

Tournament Rules & Format
Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles
Group Stage and Quarterfinals:
- 5 teams per group
- Top 1 team from each group advances to Quarterfinals
Final Quarter Remaining Slots:
- 3 remaining Quarterfinal slots go to the top second-place teams across all groups based on:
- Highest total points
- If tied, highest total score
- If still tied, highest score difference
Women's Doubles
Group Stage and Semifinals:
- 5 teams per group
- Top 1 team from each group advances to Semifinals
Semifinal Remaining Slot:
- 1 remaining Semifinal slot goes to the top second-place team across all groups based on:
- Highest total points
- If tied, highest total score
- If still tied, highest score difference
Group Stage Point System
In the group stage, teams will earn points based on match outcomes:
- Win: 3 points
- Loss: 0 points
The group stage rankings will be determined by the total points each team collects from all their group matches.
The teams with the highest total points will rank higher in the group standings.
If teams are tied on points, additional tie-breaker rules (such as total score and score difference) will be applied as stated in the tournament rules.

Scoring Format
Men's and Mixed Doubles:
- Round Robin: 1 set, 15 points rally, sudden death
- Quarterfinals: 1 set, 21 points rally, sudden death
- Semifinals: Best of 3 sets, 11 points traditional (0-0-2)
- Finals: Best of 3 sets, 11 points traditional (0-0-2)
Women's Doubles:
- Round Robin: 1 set, 15 points rally, sudden death
- Semifinals: Best of 3 sets, 11 points traditional (0-0-2)
- Finals: Best of 3 sets, 11 points traditional (0-0-2)
